Hamish (65) was best known for co-founding kiwi indie rock band The Clean with his brother in 1978, and he was inducted into the NZ Music Hall Of Fame in 2017.
He had success in NZ and the USA both as a solo artist and in various other bands. After living in New York for almost 30 years, he moved back to Christchurch to perform shows across NZ. Tragically he had been missing for almost a week before he was discovered deceased.
