Robin (61) was known for being a caring educator, music lover, and a keen supporter of Polyfest. Working in many NZ schools and spending nine years in Papua New Guinea working in education, he will be remembered as one of Otago's longest-serving Samoan educators and one of the few Pacific principals in NZ. Moonlight Macraes School, where he was principal for the last 3 years, plan to create a memorial garden in his memory.
