Margaret (57) was an award winning NZ musician. She moved to Australia to further her career, releasing her first solo album in 1989. She travelled to the UK and America to write and record songs, then returned to NZ in 1994 to perform on stage in Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2020 she was inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame. She spent her final years battling cancer with family by her side in NSW, Australia.
