James (70) was one of NZ’s best film actors. He grew up in Wellington and began acting in 1975. He then moved to Australia to advance his career. Best known for his role in Australian TV show McLeod’s Daughters, he also became a successful film and stage actor. He passed away in Canberra after a short and intense battle with brain cancer.
