One of the strongest men in the world died after being struck by a car, He was 104 years old. Joe once lifted 3,200lb (1,452kg and weighed just 10st 10lb (68kg) at the peak of his career, and was regarded as one of the strongest men for his size at the time. He was a decorated World War II veteran and lifelong vegetarian, and he could still bend coins between his fingers at 104. He performed as a strong man in the 1920s. Later he was a travelling boxer fighting under the name Kid Dundee.
