Aarush (3) tragically drowned when the van he was a passenger in rolled backwards into a lake while the family where on holiday. Aarush and three others were in the parked van when the driver, his father, got out to stretch his legs and the van rolled into Lake Dunstan. The others scrambled free but Aarush was trapped in the back with his seat belt on. Desperate attempts by family and passer-by's failed to save him as the van had rolled back and was five metres below the surface in bitterly cold water.
