Ariki (18) tragically died in mysterious circumstances. She had been missing for several days, when she was found deceased in a burnt out abandoned car in rural Havelock North. She had been on a road trip, from Auckland in her new van, visiting family and friends in Hawkes Bay.
Ariki was known as being “full of life”, “loud and proud”, and “on a mission to be the best person she could be”.
Over 700 people attended her funeral, and the police investigation is ongoing.
