Patrick (62) was considered to have several gifts, including helping connect people to their whakapapa. He was of Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāpuhi and Taranaki, decent and although dying at just 62, he will be forever remembered and celebrated as a "fighter" for Tauranga Moana. He worked hard on the settlement claim process during the controversial Pare Hauraki settlement claim process, and was an avid record keeper, something which future generations will benefit from immensely. RIP Patrick.
