Joh (66) tragically died when the school bus she was driving crashed, she was the only victim. She had been driving children from South Mākirikiri School home at the time, fortunately none of the children were injured.
Joh was a valued member of her local community, known for her endless enthusiasm, sense of humour, selflessness and can-do attitude. She was also the vice-president of Rangitīkei Netball, and had recently become the Rangitīkei College (Marton) sports coordinator.
