NZ's largest lotto winner, Margaret (74), will be remembered for her "Irish" luck, modesty and generousity. In 2009 she and her daughter were half of the syndicate who won a $36.9 million Lotto draw and they donated a million dollars to the Wairarapa District Health Board which funded an ambulance, crew uniforms and other hospital equipment. She died peacefully in her Masterton home of a suspected heart attack.
