It has been four years since the disastrous day. As we look back, we remember you and the 184 other victims of the earthquake that shook the city, country, and world. You were and still are deeply missed by your family, friends, and all others that you knew. Remember that everyone you know is doing well. Rest in peace Andrew James.

  • It has been nearly a year, and I still can't quite get my head around the fact that you are gone. There have been several times that I was sure I have seen you walking down the street... I wish it could have been you. Thank you for the laughs and the memories. You are certainly missed!

I still cannot believe that you have gone from our lives Bish. We didn't live in each others pockets but the times we did have together as a family unit will remain in my heart forever. The boys miss you and often talk about you with such love and admiration and whenever I do My eyes fill up thinking of the life you had created for yourself with Amber and her boys. They were all so luck to have you in their lives. Your Mum and sister will have a big job to get over this tragedy as will we all. Till we meet upstairs in the angels bar for that drink (don't like bourbon tho!!) I will think of you often my lovely nephew and miss you terribly.
Lots of love Aunie Lynne, Uncle Reg, Nick Ash and Cole McConchie xxx

  • I never met you Andrew but I worked with your Mum, Karen for a number of years. I was with your Mum at work on the day of the earthquake (at night) It was a night I will never forget. Your Mum was so strong and we were all praying for you. Your Mum and family will always be with you in spirit Andrew.
