Environmentalist, business woman and patron of the arts Lady Diana Isaac (91) will be forever remembered for her contributions to the Canterbury business community, after taking the reigns of her husband Sir Neil's business, Isaac Construction, when he died in 1987. She was also a significant contributor to the restoration of Christchurch's Theatre Royal which was renamed Isaac Theatre Royal in 1985. She also established 1200-hectare conservation park on the fringe of Christchurch for recreation and scientific study.
