Valquin tragically died in the devastating Christchurch Earthquake. He was a nurse and was studying English at King's Education, on the third floor of the Canterbury Television (CTV) building, when the 6.4 quake hit the city. He is one of scores of people believed to have been in the building when it collapsed and caught fire.

4 Years

It has been four years since the disastrous day. As we look back, we remember you and the 184 other victims of the earthquake that shook the city, country, and world. You were and still are deeply missed by your family, friends, and all others that you knew. Remember that everyone you know is doing well. Rest in peace Valquin.
