  • 4 Years

It has been four years since the disastrous day. As we look back, we remember you and the 184 other victims of the earthquake that shook the city, country, and world. You were and still are deeply missed by your family, friends, and all others that you knew. Remember that everyone you know is doing well. Rest in peace Rhys.

  • I didn't know Rhys, and i'm not going to pretend I did. But I currently attend Saint Kentigern College and when given as assignment to research an old collegian that excelled in English, I was assigned Rhys. I truly feel blessed to be able to research and honor him through this assignment and my hopes and prayers go out his family and friends. I realize I'm a few years late, but they say better late then never, and since I have time left in my life, I am thankful i get to spend some of it, however little it may be, honoring his.

  • An SKC nobleman gone, but not forgotten

You were a legend Rhys, thanks for the Field Centre advice in 2000 at Tongariro Lodge!, I knew you'd make Chapel Prefect when we were Year 13's! Your poetry, your nurturing nature and service to SKC, a true legend.
