The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the single most defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge humans have faced since WWII.
It emerged in Asia late 2019 and spread to every continent except Antarctica within a few months.
In late March early April almost every country had imposed strict measures to slow the spread of the deadly virus which included self isolation and social distancing.
The impact of the restricted trade and work places closing has resulted in devastating social, economic and political crises.
To date over 200,000 deaths have been recorded. source
