Peter (54) was among the first NZ based rugby players to represent Samoa, and has left behind a stellar senior rugby career which started when he was 19 years old. His achievements included playing 71 games in the front row for Auckland, representing Samoa in their 1988 tour of Wales and Ireland and captaining the team in the 1991 Rugby World Cup.
