Thoughts are with Bens family
Just so that Bens family know - we are constantly thinking of you and your bravery! We believe you will see Ben again one day and that he is so proud of you and your courage!
-
A GREAT GUY
I too met Ben in London - he gave so much inspiration! Went out of his way to include everyone in the conversation and share the laughs. My heart goes out to his family and girlfriend (Becki) back in NZ whom he spoke about so often with so much love. He loved his family - mum, dad, sisters and brothers soooo much. We will all see you again someday Ben (time flies so will probably be much sooner than we all think!)

I only knew Ben for a few days on the sail in Croatia, but Ive never met someone so full of happiness and love. I just want everyone to know how much fun Ben had on his last night here on earth, and how much he loved his girlfriend who he spoke about most of the night! Wish we could have gotten to know each other better Ben, rest in peace gorgeous boy xo

Still thinking of you constantly I barely knew you but it effected me tremendously, wish I got to know you more. you always made a effort with me and I am thankful.

Hope
Dear Ben At this time of year our hearts go out to your family and those that love you. I know you wish you could assure them that you are so happy up there in heaven and that you will all be together again someday. I hope that this message will give them hope in the knowledge that they WILL see you again, and the courage and strength to live life to the fullest because you so wish them to do so.

For thoes who loved ben
I never met Ben but he is the type of person your feel you already know and have a connection with before you have met. It is a feeling you get from the way that his friends and family spoke of him and held him close to their hearts. I know i speak for many when I say that his full on outlook on life is inspirational and has made me reflect on how precious every moment is. My love and most caring thoughts are with your family Ben.

For Bens Family And Becky
Remember; Each passing day only brings you closer, Until then be patient, live your journey out... then go home to be with Ben Love and thoughts always

I went to Te Kowhai Primary School with Ben and we had a number of mutual friends over the years so we ran into each other on a number of occassions since the Te Kowhai days. Even though I had not seen him for a few years now it still was hard to hear the news that he had passed. My thoughts are with all the friends and family back home who knew Ben and I really wish I could be there for some of you right now. To the Gilby-Todds I can't even begin to put into words how you must be feeling or what to say. Ben was a great guy and lived life to the fullest. Remember the good times to get you through the tough days.

I have wonderful memories of a beautiful little boy with a mop of golden curls. Sincere sympathy to Jan, Mike and family.
