Senior Constable Len Snee (53) was shot dead in Napier after a low level cannabis raid on a suburban house. Also shot were two other police officers, Bruce Miller and Grant Diver, and a member of the public. They are seriously hurt. Len is the 29th police officer to die on duty in New Zealand in more than 120 years and was a highly regarded and experienced policeman.
