Phoenix (9) lost his two year battle with cancer dying in Melbourne with his Mum, Grandmother and best friend at his side. He had a rare cancerous tumour in his spine, which chemotherapy and radiation were unable to treat, however an alternative treatment was started in Australia earlier in the month of his death with the families NZ supporters raising more than $40,000 towards it.
