Meningococcal disease claimed Fulton Hogan's chief executive Bill Perry's life. Bill (48) was a key figure behind the rebuilding of Christchurch following the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes that bought the city to its knees. He was involved with Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Alliance, Roading New Zealand, Business Leaders Safety Council and the Auckland Motorway Alliance. He had been appointed chief executive of Fulton Hogan in 2008. He is survived by his wife and three children.
