Craig (46) was participating in a motorcycle race at theTimaru International Motor Raceway for four stroke bikes up to 250cc whe, on an early corner in the rac, his rear tyre slipped. After he fell he was hit another driver and tragically died at the scene, He was a motorcycle mechanic from Mayfield and will be remembered as "a good fun loving guy" and "a role model to younger riders".
