Catherine Mary Sheehan

Former journalist Catherine (56) was a self-professed freedom cyclist and had set off on a trip to cycle the world. Tragically she was fatally hit by a car while cycling in Kuala Lumpur.
Her cycling took her to many countries including China, Vietnam, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, France and Thailand often carrying 20kg of gear with her. She had clocked up tens of thousands of miles over her many journeys. She is survived by her son.
