    • You've been in our thoughts

      Dear Julie

Like my sisters Susie Oon and Judy Zai, I've been an old friend of the Wong family since 1957 and first met David in 1977. When your father-in-law Johnson came to our home in Hong Kong a year ago, we talked about your family in New Zealand and I thought we'd see you there some time in the not too distant future. So sad that it's not to be. Nevertheless, our thoughts are with you and your family.

    • RIP Julie

Dear Julie: We have never met but I have been a long-time friend of your parents-in-law's family. We were in shock when we heard of your missing and prayed that you would be found which, of course, was not to be. Our deepest sympathy to your loved ones.

    • Rest in the arms of Jesus

Dear Julia: We have not met but I am a long-time family friend of the Wong family. Masses had been arranged for your intention at my local parish "Catholic Church of St Ignatius Church" and may you rest in peace. Mrs Susie Oon, Singapore.

    • RIP Julie

Julie, I stood in shock looking at our building on that day. I prayed you were away but sadly, that was not to be. My thoughts and prayers are of you, and your dear family you had to leave so soon. My love, Sonya
