    • A True Gentleman

Dear Blair, I was shocked to learn that you were a victim of the devastating Christchurch earthquake. Just wanted to say that you were one of a kind, a gentle caring person who was good at everything he did. It was a pleasure to work with you at EY in Christchurch. I was so happy to hear that you had married and had children. I know it will be terribly hard for them to lose such a special husband and father. Just wanted to say that you won't be forgotten.

    • I was so sad to learn of your passing, I know you will now be in a beautiful place. I know your family will miss you terribly but the knowledge of what a beautiful special person you have always been and the memories they each share of you will help them through the hard times.

    • Remember you with a smile

      Dear Blair

With much saddness I heard the news today that you had left us. I thought back to the times at St Kevin's and I have the fondest memories of you. You were always kind to everyone, never one to say a harsh word or bring anyone down. Even then you had an inner strength and appeared that you knew who you were and had a confidence in that. My thoughts go to your family and friends. RIP

    • My thoughts are with your friends and family at this stage and always. I have many fond memories of our swimming days together. RIP Blair.
