Janet tragically died in the devastating Christchurch Earthquake. She was an osteopath who had been working at The Clinic on the second floor of the CTV building when the 6.4 quake hit the city. She is one of scores of people believed to have been in the building when it collapsed and caught fire. She is survived by two sons.

    • Happy memories

My name is Christopher James and I new Janet when she was training to become an Osteopath. We lived together in Sevenoaks in Kent I was a wanna be sculptor and she was a go getter, make things happen sort of girl.I dreamt about her last night, the first time in 30 years and I had to find out what she was doing now. I knew she had gone to New Zealand.I am deeply saddened to learn of Janet's passing and I have said a prayer for her ,she will always be held in my memories with love and affection.

    • Thinking of you

I was a patient with Janet. She was a lovely, caring person who helped guide me with my new son, not just with osteopathy, for that I am grateful. She often talked about her own boys, she will be missed dearly.
