A stunning young man lost to his family and community
Jaime Gilbert was my son's good friend. They had been mates at high school, were in bands together for rock quest, shared a love of music and both lived life to the fullest. Jaimie loved life, his family and friends. He was gentle, kind and would do anything for anyone. I remember thinking he was one of the politest teenagers I ever met! He was witty, intelligent and a unique individual, who embraced live, both its joys and challenges. I talked with him recently about how life can throw shit at you but you can choose to take a path that you will grow from, learn from and step up onto that new path. He was so excited to be a dad! To his family; Natalie, Vicki and Robert Amy and his Whanau and his two little babies, Levi and India I wish you peace eventually, love and all my best wishes, he will be missed terribly!
