Nancy (48) was a talented actor and writer having won the Bruce Mason playwriting award the day after she died. She was well known for her acting, one role as Nurse Jaki Manu on the long-running NZ TV series Shortland Street. The last play she worked on was Witi's Wahine. Sadly she died from cancer which she had battled for almost nine years. RIP Nancy
