Nineteen years after she went missing, Jane's body was found buried in sand dunes at Sunset Beach in Port Waikato. She was only 17, and a mother of a five month old, when she disappeared from Auckland's Karangahape Rd while working as a prostitute and despite an intensive search for her, she was never found. Since finding her body, new information has been presented to police who, like the family, are keen to solve the mystery of her murder.
Her funeral will be held at St George's Anglican Church in Epsom, Auckland on Friday 20th July at 1.30pm.
