    • Happy Memories of Pasture Street

Hello Noeline and girls, Co-incidence brought this site to my attention and I am saddend indeed to read here that Paul has passed Noeline. Whilst Ive lost touch with the good old days in Pasture Street, I do have very happy memories of the days I lived opposite from you and was privileged indeed to have enjoyed a thoroughly excellent example of Southern Hospitality, as was the genuine friendship and support that both Paul and yourself offered to Richard and I as a young married couple and parents. Paul of course was a real mentor to Richard and his introduction to Freemasonry. Especially I remember a devoted husband, and fine example of a loving and proud parent to those beautiful daughters you have. H I remember fish soup and coloured baby safety pins; swarms of bees and garden swings; slivered almonds carefully placed on trifles; and humour. My heartfelt thanks to you Paul for the truly decent person you were, and my warmest thought s to you Pauline, Susan and Karen in what must be a very difficult time.
